Quote #9: Skid Marked Life
"Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave, safely, in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting, 'Holy shit, what a ride!!!'"

Allen, my friend, sent this to our yahoogroup email after seeing the movie 'Blue Moon' with the rest of the gang. It caught me right through, so I asked his permission to have it hanging by here..
"When you say you are gonna fix the roof, better darn be sure it

This one's funny. I got this as a forwarded message - I haven't edited any part of it. Full of wit and sublime humor:
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then
I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of
their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than to be selfish and worry about my liver..."

"Some of romances end for all kinds of reasons... But when all
is said and done, they have one thing in common: they are shooting stars; a
spectacular moment of light in the heavens; a fleeting glimpse of eternity...
and in a flash, they're gone.."
"Even the best fall down
sometimes, Even the wrong
words seem to rhyme...
I have had so many topics in mind and ideas/experiences to have shared but I lacked time to post them. And now, I lost them. This is the shitty part of being a writer, or plainly wanting to broadcast what you think, you can't gather your thoughts when you've lost the "flow".
